Machine washing outdoor cushions

While the manufacturer does not recommend machine washing the cushions, many customers have successfully  done so. If you plan on washing your cushions, here are two options to consider:

Option 1: Gentle Cleaning with Mild Detergent

For routine cleaning, you can use a mild detergent and a soft brush to gently clean the fabric. This is the safest method and will help preserve the quality of your cushions.

Option 2: Washing Machine (Use with Caution)

Some customers have successfully washed their cushions in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. However, if you choose this method, it’s very important to immediately place the cushion covers back onto the foam inserts as soon as they come out of the machine. If you don’t, the cushions could shrink, and you may have difficulty fitting the covers back onto the foam.

Please note: Option 2 should only be used as a last resort, as there is a risk of damaging the cushions during the wash. Option 1 is the safer choice, but if your cushions are heavily soiled, Option 2 might be worth considering despite the potential risks.
