As shown in this illustration (above) you need to measure the sofa deck from side to side and front to back. You may want to measure the  distance (side to side) in the front and also toward the back of the decking because sometimes the decking will tapper back from front to back.

Type 2 bottom  cushions

The bottom cushions on this type are curved on the back corners. refer to figure 2

As illustrated in (figure2) the bottom cushions on this type of rattan and wicker furniture have curved back end corners. You can measure this curve by placing the end cushion on a piece of typing paper and then outlining the curve. Once you have outlined the curve fax us a copy. refer to figure 3

The back cushions  are the same on both type 1 and type 2 cushions

As shown in (figure 1) you need to measure the distance from the deck to the top of the sofa. You can make the back cushions a bit higher than the top of the sofa or you can make the back cushions a bit lower than the top of the sofa. This is your preference, but remember when you calculate the measurement for the back cushions be sure to subtract 5″ because this is the thickness of the bottom cushion and the back cushion sits on top of  the bottom cushion. Also, most customers prefer us to round the outside corners of the back cushions.
