The Outdoor-Weatherproof furniture collections are hand crafted from resin weaves and extruded resin materials, making them totally weatherproof. Standard features include innerspring seat cushions, encased in weather and mildew resistant ticking and backed by a limited 5 year warranty. Backs are 100% polyester fiber designed for all weather use. E-Z-Dri grommets are installed in cushions, allowing cushions to dry out quickly. All frames are warranted for period of 1 year against defects. Warranty does not include freight damage, abuse or damage caused by acts of nature. Fabrics are not covered by these warranties.
PVC resin/dexin is the most widely raw material used in plastic production and also makes great outdoor wicker furniture. It has good chemical stability, corrosion resistance and water resistance.
Extruded Resin can be defined by forcing a material through a die orifice. This die orifice produces the final shape of the finished product. It is probably a bit of over simplification, but extrusion is somewhat analogous to squeezing toothpaste through a tube.
Extrusion produces an inherently strong finished product. More so than a molding process. This is one of the reasons that plastic pipe is rated at higher pressures than injection molded plastic fittings
